Hokey Pokey (A Whiny Poem)

I was dealt a winning hand in the form of a man.

You folded.

You folded.

Couldn’t expose the black heart you held close.

So you folded.

You folded.

You could have called. And you may have won.

But you folded.

You folded.

Now, we’ll never know. I have to let go.

‘Cause you folded.

You folded.

    1. It’s fun attempting to make something distinct and personal turn into something other people can relate to. Hopefully, I was at least a little bit successful! Thank you for your feedback, Alex! ๐Ÿ˜€
